Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js. They should be proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, with hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis). Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems, as well as proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality features, write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices, optimize application performance, security, and scalability, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments, lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
