Key Position: Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a seasoned revenue recognition expert to lead our accounting team. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition, compliance with US GAAP, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the revenue recognition process, analyzing customer contracts and determining proper treatment under US GAAP (ASC 606).
  2. Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Delivery, and HR teams to ensure data flow and contract interpretations are accurate.
  3. Prepare revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  4. Ensure prompt collections from customers and assist in implementing internal controls over revenue recognition processes.
  5. Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in revenue recognition or technical accounting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, ZOHO Books, XERO, etc., is an asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
