Job Description

Seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed.

Key responsibilities include architecting, implementing, and maintaining automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing, developing and extending test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing, configuring and scheduling nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions, analysing test results, triaging failures, and collaborating with developers to resolve defects.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications, strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing, proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, and solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, artifacts, and test plans.

• Working knowledge of AWS: provisioning, IAM, and basic troubleshooting.

• Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).

• Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Application Insights, CloudWatch, Datadog).

• Certification in ISTQB, AWS, or Azure DevOps.
