This opportunity is ideal for a data engineering professional with extensive experience in database administration, reporting and dashboarding disciplines.

The role requires an analytical thinker who pays significant attention to detail in their work.

We are looking for an experienced individual with wide range of skills in various data storage and visualization tools including Azure data factor, Synapse, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL).

Responsibilities

  • Design and build solutions that meet business needs.
  • Capable of architecture, design and implementing warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from multiple sources into a data warehouse or data lake.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure it is accessible and structured to facilitate reporting needs.
  • Setup dashboards and reports in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Build resilient, reliable, secure and cost-effective solutions.
  • Implement best practices and stay ahead of issues with proactive monitoring and alerting.

Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of strong experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Experience working with legacy code and systems.
  • End-to-end knowledge from product databases to information visualization.
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting using SSRS and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools such as SSIS, ADF or any other.
  • Data modelling (single-layer Data warehouse / Kimball)
  • Proficiency in .NET and/or Azure cloud technologies.
  • Able to work in an agile environment and collaborate with the team.
