Job Title: Azure Linux Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Linux Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using Azure and Linux.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining SUSE servers, as well as managing IBM, DELL, Lenovo Fujitsu, and HP HANA appliance servers. You will also be responsible for building and reimaging SUSE Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage Linux virtual machines configured in ESX environments, provide Level 3 support to customers, and manage the antivirus environment.

Your key responsibilities will include patching and OS upgrades on SUSE servers, exposure to DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, email services, knowledge of SAN or NAS environments, RAID, LVM, clusters, and package management.

A good understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing, and Name Resolution is required.

Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues is necessary, as well as a good understanding of OS concepts such as security, backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, LDAP, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts, monitoring, etc.

Proficiency in configuration management systems such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible is a must.

The ideal candidate will have skills in cloud computing, particularly AWS or Azure, with experience in EBS, EFS, VPC, Elastic Beanstalk, SNS, Cloud watch, S3, EC2, Auto scaling, CloudFront, ELB, NSG & NACL, firewall management, and creating and managing EC2 instances using VPCs.

Thorough knowledge of Azure platforms IAAS, PaaS, and deep understanding of cloud computing and various deployment methodologies are essential.

The ability to design application and deployment architecture from on-premise to cloud, provide architectural guidance for Azure solutions, and experience with migration and deployment to Azure is required.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
