Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Embedded OpenGL Engineer to spearhead our graphics programming efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge graphics solutions using OpenGL ES.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in embedded systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-performance graphics applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and optimize our graphics pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with our hardware and software components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient graphics algorithms and data structures
  • Develop and optimize OpenGL ES drivers and middleware
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate graphics capabilities into our system-on-chip (SoC) designs
  • Work with software developers to ensure seamless graphics integration with our application frameworks

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  2. 7+ years of experience in embedded graphics programming
  3. Strong hands-on experience with OpenGL ES (2.0/3.0/3.1) and shader programming (GLSL)
  4. Proficiency in C/C++ with experience in embedded Linux or RTOS environments
  5. Solid understanding of graphics pipelines, GPU architecture, and rendering optimization techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Vulkan API and modern graphics techniques
  2. Exposure to safety-critical systems (automotive, avionics, medical)
  3. Knowledge of computer vision and GPU compute shaders (OpenCL, CUDA, or similar)
