Cloud Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, design and implement integrated and automated DevSecOps capability, and provide technical guidance to the business and application delivery teams.

  • Building & maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
  • Designing and implementing integrated and automated DevSecOps capability for improved security and efficiency.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to business and application delivery teams to fully leverage the benefits of cloud technology.
  • Supporting operations activity linked with application availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing automation test scripts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of deployment of applications.
  • Implementing Containerization using ECS and Docker.
  • Ensuring seamless integration with public cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Participating in daily operational issues (incidents/problems), managing application integration requests/changes and actively participating in case of any issues.
Requirements:
  • Public Cloud - EC2, ELB, ASG, S3, VPC, IAM, Cloudwatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
  • DevOps - Blue-Green Deployments, Jenkins, GIT, GitHub, Groovy.
  • Config Management - Ansible, Terraform.
  • Orchestration - Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring - Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Containers - ECS, Docker.
  • Scripting - PowerShell, Shell scripting, Groovy.
  • Good to have:
  • Database - RDS.
  • Service Management Tools - VersionOne and JIRA.
