Job Summary:

The Intercompany Financial Manager will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and closing processes across multiple business units. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and collaboration skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage intercompany transactions, including initiation, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Track and reconcile accounts receivable and payable balances to ensure timely settlements and follow-up on outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to resolve intercompany discrepancies and ensure alignment across business units.

Closing Process & Consolidation:

  • Assist in the monthly close process to ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions.
  • Collaborate with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) teams to direct expenses to the correct ledgers.
  • Prepare journal entries to reclassify expenses to regional ledgers.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a high-volume environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, GAAP, and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Understanding of business operations to ensure accurate expense coding.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Yardi, MRI, JD Edwards, RealPage, or SAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
