Job Overview

We're seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Fiction programming, driving creative and strategic initiatives that deliver high-quality content and enhance viewer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve GRP targets in the Fiction space, collaborating with Business and Fiction teams.
  • Select stories, develop screenplays, and create characters for various fictions.
  • Evaluate concepts presented by production houses or in-house talent, ensuring alignment with channel philosophy and platform fitment.
  • Participate in decision-making processes to greenlight concepts and ensure their quality meets network standards.
Strategic Initiatives:
  • Formulate strategies to develop IPs that can travel markets with each identity.
  • Identify new narratives, spaces, and trends in the market, redefining what India watches and exploring potential projects.
  • Ideate and explore new opportunities for fiction storytelling while collaborating with existing fiction talents across the network.
Cinematic Visual Grammar:
  • Work alongside the visual team to ensure on-air visuals are cinematic and enhance the viewer experience.
  • Adapt best design practices from across categories to develop SOPs for the Network.
Ecosystem Building:
  • Enable the creation of a hub of creators including story/screenplay/dialogue writers, directors, technicians, and DOPs.
  • Build alongside Tech to work on the Talent Cell as a Hub location for creators.

Requirements include 15+ years of experience in TV/Film content creation, television channels, and production houses, as well as a post-graduate degree in Communications.
