Job Title: Data Engineer

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions.
Technical Skills:
  • Expert-level proficiency in programming languages, automation, and orchestration tools.
  • Deep understanding of data storage, processing, and governance principles.
  • Proven ability to build and deploy production-grade data systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Experience with big data technologies, including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming platforms.
  • Strong security and compliance expertise, ensuring data protection and adherence to industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Must Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Cloud Composer), and data architecture.
  • Experience with GCP, including production-grade data platform deployment, cloud functions, and dataflow flex templates.
  • Deep understanding of bigquery, including partitioning, clustering, and performance optimizations.
  • Data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling, relational modeling, and designing scalable data models.
  • SQL skills at an expert level, ensuring efficient and effective database management.
