IT Governance Expert Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT governance expert to lead our team's efforts in implementing and maintaining Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and ensure timely resolution to all audit and risk assessment findings or issues relating to information security.
  • Effectively communicate audit engagement reports and recommendations to stakeholders and resolve any concerns or questions.
  • Earn a 100% certification success rate on ISMS projects.
  • Grow into a role with increasing responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience leading information security audits, preferably ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits or assessments.
  • Experience in leading or knowledge of implementations.
  • Experience authoring policies and procedures.
  • Significant experience working as an IT consultant.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 27001/2 and its derivatives, such as HITRUST and Shared Assessment.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-171/FISMA framework and its derivatives, such as Fed RAMP and CMS Information Security Program.
  • Enough Information Technology and Information Security experience to contextualize and make recommendations relevant and valuable.
  • Experience and knowledge with Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance.
  • Experience with various regulatory compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, PII, PCI-DSS, SOX, STARS, and NERC-CIP.
  • Certifications that demonstrate commitment to excellence in Information Security, such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISA, CISSP, and CEH.
  • Familiarity with related standards, such as SSAE-16 SOC1, SOC2, ISO-22301, and ISO-9001.
  • Familiarity with RBI and SEBI Guidelines.
