Logistics Expert Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Expert to lead the design and configuration of SAP Transportation Management (TM) functionalities. This includes transportation planning and scheduling, carrier selection and tendering, freight order management, freight settlement and cost calculation, transportation cockpit and charge management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and configure SAP TM functionalities including transportation planning and scheduling.
  • Lead the development of functional specifications that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct system configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live support for SAP TM deployments.
Project Delivery & Support:
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP TM.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the SAP TM system in standalone and embedded S/4HANA deployments.
Integration & Collaboration:
  • Ensure proper integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, particularly SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
  • Coordinate with technical teams for developments, such as BOPF enhancements, BRF+ rules, and Fiori apps.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain or Logistics modules.
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP TM 9.x or embedded TM in S/4HANA.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to SAP GTS, SAP EWM, or SAP LBN (Logistics Business Network).
  • Knowledge of BOPF framework, BRF+ rules, and Fiori.
