Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG and ABAP professional to join our team as a Technical Consultant.

This role involves implementing and customizing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions and ABAP programming to meet the specific needs of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of master data across various systems and applications, thereby enabling effective data governance and decision-making.

The Technical Consultant will collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand master data requirements and develop solutions using SAP MDG and ABAP. They will configure and customize SAP MDG applications to support data modeling, validation, and governance processes. Additionally, they will develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs and interfaces to integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules and external systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP data governance principles and best practices, as well as experience in integrating SAP MDG with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business users and stakeholders to understand master data requirements
  • Configuring and customizing SAP MDG applications to support data modeling, validation, and governance processes
  • Developing, enhancing, and maintaining ABAP programs and interfaces to integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules and external systems
  • Leading and supporting technical design, development, testing, and deployment activities for SAP MDG and related ABAP developments
  • Providing expertise in data modeling, data replication, and data quality management within SAP MDG
  • Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues, proposing and implementing solutions to optimize the performance of SAP MDG applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MDG with existing SAP systems
