Mobile Engineer Opportunity
Job Description

We are revolutionizing livestock management with our virtual fencing solution. Leveraging Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS), we provide a humane and cost-effective approach to cattle herding and monitoring.

The system operates through painless muscle cues, transmitting health and location data directly to a cloud backend and mobile app. This enables farmers to manage their herds efficiently, streamlining regenerative grazing practices that can decrease cattle's carbon footprint by up to 35%.

Our team is building at the intersection of Climate and AI, and we need your expertise as a Mobile Engineer to help us achieve this goal.

You will collaborate with our founders, product team, and API engineers to develop a mobile application that meets the requirements of our farming partners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing the product's mobile app using React Native and TypeScript
  • Maintaining high engineering and coding standards
  • Partnering with our product team and farming partners to understand their needs
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps using React Native
  • Proficiency in the Typescript ecosystem, including monorepos
  • Strong understanding of interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps
  • Ability to debug and optimize complex systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
