Homologation Strategist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic and enhanced product validation strategies & roadmap for the retrofit emission control device and automotive related products.
• Establish and manage collaborative relationships with Testing Authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the product validation team, ensuring effective execution of product validation strategies and meeting deadlines.
• Monitor and report on the product validation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
• Manage resources effectively to achieve project goals.
• Take ownership of product validation-related projects within the organization.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration and open communication among the engineering team.
• Work effectively in ambiguous situations while maintaining team motivation.
• Manage external testing partners and provide guidance on product validation requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in product validation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies, testing bodies, and product validation partners.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
