Job Title: Duck Creek Developer

About the Role:

Orcapod is seeking a highly skilled Duck Creek Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining billing solutions using Duck Creek Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development: Design, code, test, and deploy billing solutions using Duck Creek Technologies, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Customization: Customize Duck Creek Billing modules to align with client requirements and business processes.
  • Integration: Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to integrate billing systems with other applications and data sources.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to billing systems, providing timely support and solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
  • Collaboration: Work with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing of billing solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and function as expected.
  • Upgrades: Stay updated with the latest Duck Creek Technologies releases and best practices, implementing necessary upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Duck Creek Bill Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of Duck Creek Billing systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Duck Creek Technologies, including Duck Creek Billing, and relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, SQL).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications: Relevant Duck Creek Technologies certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience with other Duck Creek modules or platforms (e.g., Duck Creek Policy, Duck Creek Claims).
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the insurance industry or with insurance technology solutions.
