Job Title: SAP Datasphere Consultant

Description:

  • Our ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing BDC/Datasphere ingestion and transformation flows (replication flows, data flow, remote tables, SQL view, and graphical view).

  • They will also write Python-based transformation and create repeatable & reusable functions in SAP DataSphere.

  • Experience in SAP Business Data Cloud, SLT, Cloud Connectors, DP Agents, and applying SLT server sizing guidelines is required.

  • The successful candidate will integrate data from SAP S/4HANA (CDS views, extraction tables, extractors), SAP ECC (via SLT table, extractor extraction) and non-SAP legacy systems across on-premises and cloud platforms.

  • They will enhance, maintain, and optimize CDS views to support efficient extraction.

  • An end-to-end data integration strategy ensuring security, scalability, and high performance is essential.

  • Non-SAP and different types of connectivity available in DataSphere like Oracle, JDBC, OData, DataBricks, AWS/Azure/GCP, STFP, and others will be utilized.

  • API-based data ingestions with DataSphere are preferred.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of working experience is required.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in SAP DataSphere - system setup and management - sizing, spaces, allocation, security, transport, and performance optimizations is necessary.

  • Strong expertise in designing, building, and optimizing BDC/Datasphere ingestion and transformation flows is essential.

  • A minimum of 3 months of experience in SAP Business Data Cloud is required.

  • SAP BDC / SAP DataSphere Certification is highly valued.

Additional Information:

A strong background in end-to-end data integration strategy ensuring security, scalability, and high performance is required.

Highly experienced in data extractions from SAP ECC, S4 into - SAP HANA, SAP BW, AWS, Azure, Data Bricks is desirable.
