Senior Taxation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced taxation professional to fill a key role in our organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tax Compliance:
    • Drafting submissions for tax assessment and appeal proceedings, penalty submissions etc.
    • Representing before tax authorities for assessment and appeal proceedings.
    • Preparing, vetting and filing tax returns for individuals, businesses, etc.
    • Responding to tax queries and making compliances.
  • Litigation and Representation:
    • Briefing managers and counsel for tax matters.
    • Drafting and preparing tax submissions and paper books for appellate authorities.
    • Conducting thorough research on technical and legal issues in tax matters.
  • Tax Advisory, Structuring and Planning:
    • Providing advisory services on domestic/international taxation.
    • Preparing tax forms and structures for clients.
    • Advisory and planning over tax strategies and evaluating tax implications.
  • Other areas:
    • Supporting senior management in day-to-day assignments.
    • Supporting business development initiatives.
    • Addressing client queries and concerns.
    • Reviewing tax reports, etc.
    • Maintaining knowledge of tax laws through continuous learning and networking.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in taxation.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with government departments and related challenges.
  • Ability to handle complex tax assessments and litigations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
