Senior Product Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Director to lead our new Research and Development unit, bridging Headquarters and local development teams. The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking approach, strong technology understanding, and the ability to inspire software developers to deliver innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Vision: Define and communicate product vision and roadmap aligned with HQ guidelines.
  • Development Oversight: Ensure clear translation of HQ requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in product features and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor software developers, fostering collaboration, productivity, and accountability.
  • Timely Delivery: Provide leadership to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Methodologies: Implement agile methodologies and best practices in product development.
  • Product Lifecycle: Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet functional, technical, and design standards.
  • User Experience: Collaborate with QA and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Liaison: Act as primary liaison with HQ, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Reporting: Present product updates, progress reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Prioritization: Balance business needs with technical feasibility and team capacity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Product Manager in software, digital products, or SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver applications and SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), with experience working directly with international teams/HQ.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate product vision into actionable development plans.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing distributed or multicultural teams.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, data analytics, APIs, mobile ecosystems, etc.).
  • Background in scaling SaaS or mobile app products internationally.
