Job Overview :

 

As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our Python-based applications and services. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that our software solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet the highest standards of quality.

 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, test, and maintain large-scale Python applications and services to ensure scalability, efficiency, and high-quality performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop, and deploy new features.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technology decisions to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability through continuous monitoring and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and integrate with third-party services and databases to ensure seamless data exchange and synchronization.
  • Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure software quality to guarantee fast and reliable deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to the tech stack to drive growth and competitiveness.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • 4-8 years of professional experience in Python development, with a strong focus on software engineering principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with popular frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development, with a focus on scalability and security.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms to ensure efficient and scalable code.
  • Proficient in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to guarantee software quality.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Desirable Skills :

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Experience in building scalable microservices architectures.
  • Exposure to front-end technologies is a plus.
