About the Special School

The school provides special education and vocational training for children and adults with diverse needs.

Located on a scenic campus, our school offers pre-vocational and vocational training programmes, including the NIOS curriculum, and is supported by a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals providing physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for children with diverse needs.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans and therapy goals in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other health professionals.
• Deliver 1:1 and group physiotherapy sessions tailored to each child's developmental level and physical needs.
• Provide support for physical access and mobility within the school environment, including recommending adaptations and assistive equipment.
• Monitor progress and outcomes using evidence-based tools and update care plans accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities
• Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc) and HCPC registration
• Previous experience working with children and/or young people with special needs
• Knowledge of conditions affecting motor development and experience with specialist equipment
