Web Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, Laravel, and MySQL, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop cutting-edge web applications on portal platforms.
  • Build innovative state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
  • Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
  • Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
  • Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
  • Communicate effectively with task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, technical, and process issues.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Coordinate with co-developers and keep project managers informed of the status of development efforts and serve as liaison between development staff and project managers.
  • Stay up-to-date with new trends and best practices in web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in laravel/lumen-framework, PHP 7.1 ,MySQL.
  • Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 3-4 years.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design.
  • Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat).
  • MySQL profiling and query optimization.
  • Creative and efficient problem solver.
