Job Description

As a seasoned ServiceNow Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable solutions across the Compliance & Risk domains. You will leverage your technical expertise to develop and implement business partner strategies on time, driving optimal results.

  1. Develop and deliver high-quality development projects within tight deadlines, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development life cycle.
  2. Create comprehensive technical/implementation design documentation that meets industry standards.
  3. Provide detailed estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases, ensuring accurate project planning.
  4. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to development, implementation, and performance standards, providing coaching and mentoring to engineers as needed.
  5. Collaborate with scrum teams to prepare configurations for production, aligning with wider testing strategy.
  6. Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, reviewing test scripts and providing feedback.
  7. Escalate issues, provide feedback, and propose changes to implementation specifications as required.
  8. Offer consultation services to product owners, providing recommendations to drive their requirements to success.
  9. Contribute to the technical roadmap and architectural direction based on product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

This role requires strong experience with ServiceNow, including Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions/components in the ServiceNow Suite. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations, workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, Integrations, and CMDB, as well as experience using applicable programming methodologies such as JavaScript, API (Restful), XML, Java, Jelly scripting, and Angular JS.

Prior experience with GCP, Agile Framework, Scaled Agile Framework, and Machine Learning or Generative AI is highly valued. A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credential is also desirable. This role involves working primarily with other Engineers, Product Owners, Staff Architects, and Staff Engineers to deliver development projects and support functional capabilities.
