About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to develop instructional documentation and manage projects across our systems. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand their needs in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that meets established metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and edit technical documents, including user manuals, guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Communicate complex information to various audiences, including customers, technical staff, managers, executives, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Restructure information to improve problem-solving approaches and task execution.
  • Break down complex topics into accessible concepts suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Represent information through visual and graphical forms that enhance textual descriptions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multitasking and self-starting capabilities.
  • Excellent English language skills, including grammar, spelling, and usage.
  • Interviewing and questioning skills to gather relevant content from individuals and groups.
  • Interpersonal skills to negotiate documentation priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field.

Required Skills:

  • Experience documenting instructions for software, development, and related processes.
  • Project management skills, including organizing multiple documentation projects, reaching out to subject matter experts, and tracking project goals, scope changes, and progress.
