Visionary Computer Vision Engineer for Advanced Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Thoucentric Technology Private Limited. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in computer vision and machine learning to develop innovative solutions for defect detection and classification in manufacturing facilities.
About the RoleThis is a challenging role that requires a strong foundation in computer vision fundamentals, including image preprocessing, feature extraction, object detection, and image segmentation. You will work closely with software engineers to integrate the models into the final production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cutting-edge computer vision algorithms to ensure high-quality standards.
- Preprocess and augment project datasets to improve model performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and machine learning related to defect detection and classification.
- Optimize and fine-tune existing computer vision models to achieve high accuracy and efficiency in classification.
- Conduct thorough experiments and evaluate the performance of models using appropriate metrics and benchmarks.
- Research and develop innovative solutions to address challenges in solving the problem.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of professional experience in computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on object detection and classification.
- Strong knowledge of computer vision fundamentals, including image preprocessing, feature extraction, object detection, and image segmentation.
- Proficient in Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with data augmentation techniques, filtering, and contour extraction.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art computer vision models and techniques applicable to defect detection and classification tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
