Job Title: Localization Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented project manager to support our company's global expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage localization requests and projects across product UI, documentation, and support content by leveraging TMS tools such as Smartling and XTM, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and localization vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

TMS Tools and Processes:

  • Oversee translation workflows in Smartling and XTM, including project setup, automation, quality checks, and maintenance of translation memories, glossaries, and style guides to ensure linguistic consistency.
  • Troubleshoot TMS tool issues and work with engineering or vendor support as needed to resolve technical problems efficiently.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Guidance:

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Documentation, Marketing, and Support teams to gather requirements and prepare content for localization.
  • Ensure source content readiness and localization best practices are embedded early in workflows to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Provide guidance on localization feasibility and cultural appropriateness for target markets to support informed business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in localization project management or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Smartling and XTM.
  • Strong understanding of TMS, translation workflows, translation memories, and terminology management principles.

A proactive and detail-oriented project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing efficiency, quality, and scalability while driving alignment between vendors, tools, and internal stakeholders is ideal for this role.
