Job Title: Wind Turbine Blade Service Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled wind turbine blade maintenance professional with 1+ years of experience. Ideal candidate will have proven experience in wind turbine blade maintenance, preferably from WTG OEM or renewable IPP side, alternatively from other industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Regular Inspections: Identify signs of damage, including cracks, erosion, or structural issues on wind turbine blades.
  • Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Clean, sand, patch, and paint blades as needed.
  • Use Specialized Equipment: Access turbine blades at heights using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Develop Maintenance Schedules: Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and implement effective blade maintenance schedules.
  • Document Activities: Record all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and replacements in detailed reports.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Standards: Remain current on industry best practices related to blade maintenance and repair.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving blade-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize turbine performance.
  • Coordinate with Service Providers: Collaborate with external service providers for specialized blade repairs or maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-5 Years of experience in blade maintenance, technical certifications in wind turbine maintenance or related fields preferred.
  • Education: Diploma in mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge: Proven experience in wind turbine blade maintenance, repair, or related field. Strong knowledge of wind turbine blade materials, structures, and maintenance techniques.
  • Ability: Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external service providers. Proficiency in English or Chinese.
