Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned expert in AEM Forms to join our team. As an AEM Forms Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting scalable, secure, and user-friendly forms solutions using AEM Forms.

You will develop and maintain comprehensive forms strategies that align with business objectives. Your collaboration with stakeholders will ensure that forms solutions meet the needs of various departments and teams.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AEM Forms 6.x/Cloud, AEM Workflow, and Adobe LiveCycle. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is also required. Additionally, experience with forms design tools such as Adobe Designer and Form Builder is necessary.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to forms is crucial. Furthermore, mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance is an essential aspect of this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and user-friendly forms solutions using AEM Forms.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive forms strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define forms solutions.
  • Lead the development of forms templates, themes, and components using AEM Forms.
  • Integrate AEM Forms with other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
  • Implement automated workflows, approvals, and digital signatures using AEM Workflow.
  • Evaluate forms accessibility, usability, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to forms.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in AEM Forms development and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in AEM Forms 6.x/Cloud, AEM Workflow, and Adobe LiveCycle.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Experience with forms design tools such as Adobe Designer and Form Builder.
  • Understanding of database management systems such as MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have

The following qualifications are not mandatory but preferred:

  • Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Forms Developer or Architect.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Experience with single-page applications (SPAs) and RESTful APIs.
