Cloud Infrastructure Administrator Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration of AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

The Cloud Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for monitoring system performance, identifying trends, and implementing improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.

We utilize monitoring platforms like Datadog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold to ensure seamless operation of our cloud environment.

Implementation of security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments is also a key responsibility.

The role involves administering company SaaS platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with minimum 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments are essential.

Our team works collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and we require excellent communication and collaboration skills from our Cloud Infrastructure Administrator.
