Do you have a strong background in designing and implementing automation test frameworks and scripts? We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our talented team at Cloud Software Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Develop and implement software testing strategies and plans to meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and product management teams to ensure testing and development teams are integrated and aligned.
  • Report on testing progress and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Manage test lab environments and develop subject matter expertise for different components of the platform.
  • Mentor other team members and provide training and support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of experience in a quality assurance or test engineering role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing automation test frameworks and scripts from scratch.
  • Practical experience in coding using at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, TestNG, JUnit, Ant, or Maven.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell.
  • Strong experience in analyzing requirements, developing comprehensive test plans and test cases, and identifying and documenting software defects.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Soap and Rest web service APIs.
  • Experience working with databases, data processing, and analytical tools and familiarity with SQL language.
  • Strong aptitude for learning, excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across teams, adapt to different situations, and successfully achieve assigned goals and targets.
  • In-depth understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, processes, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Experience with Cloud Native platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.
