SAP Security Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned expert in SAP security to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing SAP user access, roles, and authorizations, ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing the creation, maintenance, and management of SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations, adhering to industry best practices.
- Conducting regular security audits and compliance checks to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to organizational security standards.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard user access and system integrity.
- Resolving SAP authorization-related issues, working closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP security, specifically with SAP Basis, user roles, and authorizations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, role management, authorization profiles, and troubleshooting security-related issues in SAP environments.
- Solid understanding of business processes across functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.) and how they integrate with SAP access controls.
Bonus Points for Candidates with Expertise in:
- Familiarity with SAP security tools, such as SAP GRC, and knowledge of ABAP/technical aspects related to SAP security.
- Understanding of SAP security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
