Main Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with strong background in software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Initiated reusable common-lib module for UI steps data-driven testing SOAP/REST API JSON parsing AODA compliance PDF test ETL support and mobile UI testing.
    • Developed frameworks in Java Maven and JavaScript Node.js using Excel for test data and JSON for object repositories.
    • Architected RAPID Automation Test Management Platform 24/7 self-sustaining system for executing automation regression test scripts.
    • Supported REST API workflows with automated test case generation JSON assertions and data encryption.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
