About this role

You will play a key part as a technical leader and communicator with stakeholders in the Data Products team. This position is primarily focused on driving development efforts by contributing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code across data pipelines, APIs, and platform components.

As a senior member of our team, you will own project deliverables, timelines, and risks to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment at every step.

Your understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into technical solutions will enable you to partner closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end value.

In addition, you will design and deliver robust and future-proof data architectures that support analytics, APIs, and machine learning initiatives.

Key responsibilities include leading technical execution of key projects, ensuring progress is clearly communicated and roadblocks are proactively addressed.

You will also partner cross-functionally to co-develop architectural roadmaps, implementation plans, and go-live strategies that meet business requirements.

Providing clear updates on technical progress, dependencies, and constraints in stakeholder reviews will be an essential part of your role.

Fostering a strong technical culture and continuous learning environment through mentoring engineers will be a key responsibility.

This role requires:

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience tracking and reporting project progress, milestones, and blockers.
  • Technical depth to contribute to codebases and architecture discussions.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset focused on transparency and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements include:

  • 10-20 years of development experience in data engineering, including direct contribution to production systems.
  • Advanced skills in Python and/or Golang, SQL, and current cloud data platforms.
  • Strong experience in communicating complex project plans and deliverables to technical and business audiences.
  • Track record of developing and operating scalable data pipelines, APIs, and data platform components.
  • Experience working directly with external stakeholders or customers, either in consulting or technical leadership roles.

  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical ideas and project updates.
  • Ability to distill complex data and architecture challenges into simple, actionable plans.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, technical consulting, or enterprise delivery where direct communication with business partners was essential.
