Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance cloud solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

• Collaborate with Client Stakeholders: Work closely with client stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
• Translate Business Requirements into Technical Solutions: Translate business requirements into well-architected cloud solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform.
• Lead Technical Design Sessions: Lead technical design sessions, architect, and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives.
• Provide Oversight and Governance: Provide oversight and governance of cloud projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
• Manage Custom Development and Integrations: Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a cloud implementation.
• Billable Utilization: Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role.
• Debug Issues: Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues.
• Liaise with Salesforce Product Teams: Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
• Travel: Travel to client sites for projects, estimated 50-75%.

• Degree or Equivalent Experience: Degree or equivalent proven experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role.
• CRM Experience: 9-14 years CRM experience with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
• Expert Level Understanding: Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud Personalization, Marketing Cloud Insights, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Data Cloud, and Agent Force.
• Systems Architecture: Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
• Key Design Patterns: Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices.
• Data Sharing and Visibility: Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture.
• Platform Authentication Patterns: Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
• Data Integration Tools: Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.).
• Environment Management: Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
• Platform Security Capabilities: Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
• Active Salesforce Certifications: Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
