Financial Process Specialist

Lowe's India is a leading organization driving technology and business strategy. This role is part of the Indirect Purchasing and Accounts Payable workstream focused on spend management and accounts payable modules within Oracle Fusion Cloud procurement and accounts payable modules.
Key Responsibilities:- Documenting and designing end-user reports and reporting requirements for seamless process execution.
- Driving change acceptance, articulating benefits, and designing training for Source to Pay process owners and customers to ensure smooth transition.
- Updating existing test scripts and creating new ones for various testing cycles to support quarterly releases and enhancements.
- Ensuring a full understanding of individual workstream objectives and roles to drive rapid decision making and continuous progress.
- Identifying retail best practices in Finance/Accounting to challenge the status quo and maintain clarity of ownership between Finance and Retail functions.
- Designing financial processes and identifying software solution requirements to perform accounting functions for core activities and deliverables.
- Researching and documenting business requirements for accounting systems related to individual workstream and validating recommended solutions independently.
- Maintaining supporting documents and decision support related to system design and testing.
- Developing recommendations to senior leadership regarding required system and process design and related testing, validation, and configuration.
- Coordinating with Technology, consultants, and finance and accounting personnel to replace and modernize complex legacy financial systems and processes.
- Making recommendations to leadership on key workstream decisions.
- Communicating effectively with other FTM workstream leads and stakeholders.
- Overseeing the configuration of new technologies and ensuring they meet business requirements for accounting and financial reporting capabilities.
- Monitoring deadlines and deliverables in accordance with workstream and FTM timelines.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, resolve, and escalate key issues, risks, and decisions while maintaining workstream progress.
