About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust, scalable server-side applications using modern Node.js and NestJS frameworks, along with database technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS framework
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations in PostgreSQL
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Implement automated testing strategies including unit and integration tests
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making
  • Work with DevOps teams on deployment pipelines and infrastructure management
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in backend software development
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS framework
  • Solid experience working with PostgreSQL database
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, or similar)
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
