Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve existing data systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead junior engineering teams to meet business objectives.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise data platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data platform efficiency and implement enhancements to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in cloud platforms for deploying and managing data solutions.
  • Strong expertise in building and optimizing ETL processes for efficient data movement and transformation.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience working with data warehouse solutions like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
  • Advanced understanding of Python and SQL programming languages.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies for processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Ability to resolve code errors and find solutions for issues in the pipeline.
