About the Role

As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing web applications and APIs using Ruby on Rails. Your role will involve maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications and APIs, as well as writing and maintaining reliable code.

You will also be working with data storage solutions, creating services using microservices architecture, and implementing Dockerization. Additionally, you will identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs, and integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing web applications and APIs
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs
  • Writing and maintaining reliable code
  • Integrating data storage solutions
  • Creating services using microservices architecture
  • Implementing Dockerization
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs

Requirements:

  • Experience: Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Expertise: Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, showcasing a deep understanding of background job processing
  • Frontend Knowledge: Solid knowledge in React and Typescript
  • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with AWS, with a specific emphasis on SQS (Simple Queue Service)
