Operational Assurance Specialist

You will have a unique opportunity to drive assurance objectives during fieldwork, including stakeholder interviews and technical evaluations. This role requires strong analytical skills to identify key risks in operational and financial environments.

  1. Develop comprehensive audit strategies around topics such as procurement, projects in various industries, and address identified risks.
  2. Enhance existing audit techniques by leveraging digital use cases that increase coverage and overall assurance in collaboration with the data analytics team.

For this position, you should possess a strong academic background, preferably with a master's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Business.

  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in industries similar to project business, product lifecycle management, manufacturing, software development, or supply chain management is required.
  • The ability to transfer an engineering/technology mindset into multiple audit cases is essential.
  • Knowledge of project life cycles from bid stage to execution is necessary.
  • Demonstrated career advancement history and commitment to continuous learning are expected.

This role offers the possibility to develop out of the Controlling and Finance Assurance department and move into a business role at Siemens within 3-5 years.

  • Frequent travel up to 50% (including internationally) is required.
