The Aditya Birla Group is seeking a qualified Chemical Engineering Supervisor to lead our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying knowledge of mass transfer and heat transfer to optimize processes and monitor system efficiency.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of mass and heat transfer processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The role involves working closely with the team to prepare shift-wise reports on operations performance and key metrics, manage and coordinate team tasks during shifts, and ensure staff are trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
The position requires adherence to safety protocols, which is a top priority. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to identify and resolve operational issues quickly.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the team to optimize processes using knowledge of mass transfer and heat transfer
- Analyze reports on operations performance and key metrics
- Coordinate team tasks and activities during shifts
- Evaluate and improve process efficiency
- Develop and implement effective training programs for staff
- Collaborate with the team to resolve operational issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of mass and heat transfer processes
- Proficiency in automated reporting systems and data analysis tools
- Experience in process engineering or operations supervision (preferred)
