Digital Experience Designer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Digital Experience Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to inform design decisions and create personas to define clear, user-centred design solutions.
  • Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas effectively and ensure seamless user journeys.
  • Deliver pixel-perfect UI designs aligned with brand guidelines, focusing on aesthetics and usability.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Conduct usability testing, analyse feedback, and refine designs to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms.

Requirements:

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating digital experience design for web and mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • A sound understanding of design thinking methodology and user-centred design principles.
  • Strong sense of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • The ability to create high-fidelity UI designs and low-fidelity prototypes.
  • Experience working with developers to translate designs into functional products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong time management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of basic front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) for design feasibility discussions.
  • Understanding of UI motion/interaction design (micro-interactions, transitions).
  • Exposure to digital experience design for enterprise applications, SaaS products, or complex platforms.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Experience working with AI-powered design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Uizard, Galileo AI, Figma AI plugins, ChatGPT for UX writing).
  • Ability to explore how AI can enhance prototyping, user research, and design automation.
