Job Overview
  • Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  1. We are looking for a highly skilled developer to design and architect highly scalable web services and applications, ensuring technical excellence and optimal performance.
  2. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain complex server-side network components to ensure seamless operations and scalability.
  3. Collaboration with front-end teams is essential to integrate backend systems and enhance the overall user experience.
  4. A robust Content Management System (CMS) and scalable API platform are required for efficient content distribution.
  5. The successful candidate will design and implement backend services for business-critical processes like search, recommendations, rights management, monetization, identity management, SSO, authorization, and authentication.
  6. Working with third-party technology services is necessary to ensure smooth integrations and platform expansion.
  7. High-performance applications will be developed by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
  8. Server-side performance optimization is crucial for handling large datasets and enhancing system scalability.
  9. Advanced security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions must be implemented to safeguard user data and ensure platform security.
  10. Leadership skills are required to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues, providing mentorship and support to junior developers.
  11. Backend API services within a serverless framework must be architected to ensure scalability, performance, and efficiency.
  12. The use of microservices architecture is championed to build flexible and modular applications.
  13. Cross-functional collaboration with tech and product teams is necessary to align short-term objectives with long-term technical goals, driving execution across platforms.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Expertise in Node.js and ReactJS frameworks for developing and maintaining scalable web applications.
  • Proven experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) for full-stack development.
  • Proficiency in NoSQL databases for efficient data storage, management, and retrieval.
  • Proficiency in gRPC and JSON for seamless inter-component communication.
  • Strong understanding of Elasticsearch for efficient search capabilities and data indexing.
  • Hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem, including cloud deployments and Lambda functions.
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps practices and web security, ensuring a secure, reliable platform.
  • Expertise in API development and deployment, enabling smooth integration with internal and external services.
  • Strong unit and integration testing skills to maintain high-quality, stable applications.
