Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of a Quality Assurance specialist involves working closely with engineers to ensure the timely resolution of issues and participating as a testing resource when required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze product requirements to define acceptance criteria, thereby guaranteeing seamless integration and flawless functionality.
  • Design, create, and maintain reusable test scripts that streamline the testing process and enhance efficiency.
  • Execute manual testing, meticulously identifying defects and inconsistencies to drive quality improvements.
  • Review Test Plans with Product Management and Development teams, fostering collaborative problem-solving and effective issue resolution.
  • Provide estimates on Test resources and effort to support prioritization and planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools, facilitating timely issue resolution and reducing technical debt.
Desired Abilities and Aptitude
  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong desire to gain experience in testing, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience in developing automated test scripts using Selenium is highly desirable, leveraging expertise to automate repetitive tasks and improve testing efficiency.
  • Practical knowledge and experience with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies are necessary, allowing the specialist to navigate complex project environments and drive results.

This role requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work within tight deadlines, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and assist in constantly reviewing and evolving processes to drive continuous improvement.
