Job Title: GIS Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated GIS Developer with 3–5 years of experience as a Geospatial specialist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong grasp of ArcGIS, python and javascript and deploy scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

The position performs a wide range of duties including but not limited to the following:

  • Developing and deploying connectors to connect with customer interfaces
  • Communicating and understanding technical requirements of customers interfaces and developing appropriate architecture for implementations
  • Analyzing, reviewing and modifying programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging
  • Ensuring that software can be completely integrated into the customer's system
  • Coordinating software integration and maintaining technical documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ArcGIS Desktop /Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and understanding how to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data
  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks)
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud is preferable
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications
  • Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions that reduce complexity
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Knowledge and Utilization of REST API and other web services for integrating
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration
  • Master's degree, GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, Related Field, or related bachelor's degree with some relevant experience
