Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Overview

A cybersecurity specialist is required to join our organization and take on a challenging role that involves identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing security events, and developing policies.

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments of systems, networks, and applications to identify potential security threats. Your findings will be used to inform the development of effective security strategies and procedures.

You will also analyze security logs and event data to detect malicious activity and identify potential security incidents. This requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

An additional responsibility will be to develop and implement security policies and procedures that align with the organization's overall security strategy. You will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.

The successful candidate will have experience managing security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, protocols, and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
