Job Description

The role of IT Infrastructure Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's network infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining the continuous flow of data between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as strong vendor management and collaboration skills. They will be responsible for managing the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, low latency, redundancy, and security.

In addition, they will collaborate with production and IT teams to align network infrastructure with the operational needs of continuous production processes. The successful candidate will lead the installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, and ensuring minimal downtime. They will also plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives that include security features and future-ready wireless infrastructure solutions.

Other key accountabilities include ensuring network scalability to support future production needs and business growth, implementing and enforcing network security policies and controls, and managing relationships with network vendors and external partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Proficient in designing and managing large-scale production network deployment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
  2. Strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols, including VPN, intrusion detection, and VLAN management.
  3. Experience in implementing OT/IT network integration and proficient in managing both wired and wireless network infrastructure, with experience in optimizing systems for large-scale industrial use.
  4. Expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions in a time-sensitive production environment.
  5. Ability to manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvements in network performance.
