Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to assume the role of Software Development Lead. This individual will be responsible for spearheading the effort to design, build, and configure applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Collaborate and manage the team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Responsible for making informed decisions that drive team success
  • Application deployment and level 1&2 support during SIT, UAT and production implementation for our core banking system
  • Follow up on UAT issues and enquiries from business users until their resolution
  • Engage with development teams on a regular basis to foster collaboration
  • Escalate critical queries in a timely manner
  • Engage with multiple teams to contribute to key decisions
  • Provide solutions to problems for immediate and cross-functional teams
  • Lead the application development process from inception to delivery
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely project completion
Mandatory Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, UNIX, Shell scripting, Control M
  • Hands-on experience on Jetty, DevOps, Docker (Software), Microsoft SQL Server, Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience on RDBMS Oracle 12/19, PL/SQL
  • Hands-on experience on Docker EE, Kubernetes, Argo CD
  • Exposure in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Master Deploy etc.
  • Exposure in Elastic search (KIBANA), Grafana
  • Exposure to ETL tools is advantageous
  • Good understanding of all phases of the system development and implementation life cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform

Additionally, the candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in DevOps. This position is based at our Mumbai office and requires a full-time education of 15 years.
