About the Role:

FyndBridge Consultants and Advisors is seeking a skilled Java and Big Data professional to join our team as a Faculty member. As a Java and Big Data Faculty, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction and guidance to individuals aspiring to become proficient in Java programming and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and materials for Java programming and big data courses, conducting engaging and interactive classroom and/or online teaching sessions.
  • Student Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing mentorship and support to enhance their learning experience.
  • Course Development and Enhancement: Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance course content and delivery, contributing to curriculum development and improvement.
  • Research and Scholarly Activities: Conduct research and contribute to scholarly activities in the field of Java programming and big data, participating in university/community outreach programs and events.
  • Student Support and Guidance: Provide academic and career guidance to students, maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in Java programming and big data technologies, with relevant industry certifications such as Oracle Certified Java Programmer (OCPJP) or Cloudera Certified Professional.
  • Experience: Proven experience in software development and/or data analysis, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching or training individuals in Java and big data, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Skills: Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing concepts, proficiency in using industry-standard development tools and platforms, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Pedagogical Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
