Digital Transformation Leader

The Head of Digital IT will lead the digital transformation agenda across entities in India, Portugal, and Germany.

This role is pivotal in orchestrating the delivery of both custom-built and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) IT solutions, long-term establishing a robust data lake infrastructure, and embedding AI-enabled applications across all IT functional departments such as HR, Finance, Quality etc.. The leader will be a strategic partner to business and technology leaders, ensuring alignment between digital initiatives and enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Develop and execute a 3-year digital transformation roadmap ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide strategic priorities.
  • Drive enterprise data initiatives including development and scaling of data lake infrastructure.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across India, Germany, and Portugal IT teams to anchor digitalization and tooling strategies from pilot phases to full-scale development and support.
  • Establish success metrics for Digitalization projects and report insights to senior leadership.
  • Oversee delivery of COTS and custom IT solutions and champion design thinking and agile methodologies with a product development mindset.
  • Strategically adopt commercial-off-the-shelf platforms and custom-built tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Embed AI-enabled applications across business functions to enhance decision-making and automation.
  • Develop and maintain a robust data lake infrastructure to support enterprise-wide analytics.
  • Anchor software engineering practices and enable delivery of Product MVPs in collaboration with Digital Delivery departments.
  • Evaluate innovation project success and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Ensure strategic compliance with InfoSec legal and regulatory standards across all digital initiatives.
  • Develop future-ready IT teams focusing on emerging digital technologies including AI and Cloud.
