**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Procure Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions and associated components, including battery cells, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), transformers, cables, busbars, switchgears, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
  • Identify and develop reliable vendors to establish a robust supply chain both within India and internationally.
  • Conduct thorough evaluation and negotiation of commercial contracts covering aspects such as pricing, delivery timelines, warranties, spare parts, and logistics.
  • Manage the importation process, including customs clearance and associated documentation.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cost reduction strategy aimed at optimizing procurement expenses.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed MIS reports to track procurement performance and vendor relationships.

**Requirements:**

  • B.Tech in Electrical
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in procurement and vendor development within the Renewable Power Industry, specifically in Solar, Battery, Wind, and related Electrical Systems and Components.
  • Possesses a strong techno-commercial background with excellent negotiation skills.
